Fixing a bricked Xperia T3 and keeping the internal storage

For this, you will need experience with Flashtool. If you're not familiar with it, I highly recommend Googling a bit to make understanding this post easier.

Yesterday, an Xperia T3 came up for repair. It started acting up (force closes all the time) and finally refused to do anything after the operator logo. The phone also contained important data, so a complete phone wipe wasn't the best solution.

If you've used Flashtool to wipe your phone in the recent time, you may have noticed that you can flash individual partitions of the phone; this allows you better control when doing modifications of some sort.

To get your T3 back to life, you will need Flashtool, with the drivers for Flashmode installed (located in C:\Flashtool\drivers\, you need to check only the first check mark) and a copy of a clean firmware for the appropriate model (the one I've used is a D5103)

After you've booted the phone into Flashmode (hold Vol Down and plug in the cable) click the Flash button (lightning symbol) and proceed to Flashmode. Locate your firmware and exclude ALL partitions expect SYSTEM and CACHE. Also, exclude CUST-RESET and FOTA-RESET; we aren't interested in those.

Start flashing your phone. After the process finishes, unplug the phone and power it up. If you downloaded a non-branded firmware, you should be getting only the Xperia wave. After a while, you should be greeted by an "Upgrading Android" screen. Your phone should be working; some parts of the phone may be non-functional, but enough to get into MTP mode and recovering the data. After that, you can either do a hard reset or a full flash in Flashtool, and your phone should be working great again.

That's it from me.
